Motorola has launched eight new smartphones simultaneously across its Razr foldable, Edge, and G-series lineups, in one of the most unusually broad single-day device announcements from any smartphone manufacturer in recent memory. The rollout covers everything from a premium clamshell foldable to an entry-level budget handset, spanning a price range from under £200 to over £1,200, with five of the eight models confirmed for availability in European markets.
The flagship of the entire lineup is the Motorola Razr 70 Ultra, known as the Razr Ultra 2026 in the United States, which arrives as the follow-up to the well-received Razr 60 Ultra. It features a 6.96-inch 165Hz AMOLED internal display with 5,000 nits peak brightness, a 4-inch external display with Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic protection, and a triple camera system led by a new 50-megapixel LOFIC sensor offering up to six times more dynamic range than its predecessor. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, carries a 5,000mAh battery with 68W wired and 30W wireless charging, and is priced at £1,199.99 in the United Kingdom and €1,299.99 in Europe. The standard Razr 70 sits below it with a 6.9-inch internal display, MediaTek Dimensity 7450X processor, dual 50-megapixel camera system, and a 4,800mAh battery with both wired and wireless charging, priced at £799.99.
On the non-foldable side, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro positions itself as the thinnest and lightest phone in its category at 7.19mm, featuring a 6.8-inch 1.5K Extreme AMOLED display at 144Hz, a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset, and what Motorola describes as the only quadruple 50-megapixel camera system in its class, including a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 710 main sensor and a 50-megapixel 3.5x telephoto lens. Its 6,500mAh battery with 90W wired charging is one of the headline specs in this segment, and it is priced at £749.99. The Moto G87 leads the affordable tier with a 200-megapixel main camera, a 6.78-inch Extreme AMOLED display, IP66, IP68, and IP69 water resistance ratings, MIL-STD-810H durability certification, MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor, and a 5,200mAh battery, all for £349.99. Rounding out the European lineup is the Moto G37 at £199.99, offering a 7,000mAh battery, 6.67-inch 120Hz display, and IP64 water resistance for budget-focused buyers. Three additional models, the Razr 70 Plus, Moto G47, and Moto G37 Power, were also announced without confirmed pricing or availability for European markets. Motorola also unveiled the Brilliant Collection, a collaboration with Swarovski featuring crystal-adorned versions of the Motorola Signature handset and Moto Buds 2 Plus true wireless earphones.
