Omantel has signed a Master Service Agreement with Liva Insurance SAOC, making the telecommunications company Liva Insurance’s strategic telecommunications partner and expanding its role in supporting the insurer’s digital infrastructure across Oman. The agreement brings together connectivity and communication services intended to support Liva Insurance’s operations, business continuity and digital services. As insurance companies continue to increase their use of digital platforms and customer-facing services, reliable telecommunications infrastructure has become an important part of maintaining day-to-day operations. Under the partnership, Omantel will provide Liva Insurance with a range of services covering mobility, data, security and voice through a single strategic arrangement.

The agreement includes corporate mobile solutions through Omantel’s NAMA Business Bundles, Fixed Business Broadband and FBB Pro services, managed security and backup connectivity, Dedicated Internet Access, Multiprotocol Label Switching network services and Ethernet Point-to-Point connectivity. The portfolio also covers voice services through Session Initiation Protocol Trunk and Integrated Services Digital Network Primary Rate Interface solutions. By bringing these services together under one agreement, Omantel aims to provide Liva Insurance with a connected infrastructure covering different aspects of its communications requirements. The arrangement is also intended to give Liva greater flexibility as it expands its digital capabilities and customer services, while supporting connectivity between teams and operations across the organisation.

Bakhit Kashoob, Vice President of Enterprise Business at Omantel, said connectivity has become an important foundation for business resilience, innovation and customer experience. He said the partnership with Liva Insurance will provide secure and scalable digital infrastructure designed to support business continuity and growth. Hanaa Al Hinai, Chief Executive Officer of Liva Insurance, said reliable connectivity is fundamental to serving customers and supporting employees across the organisation. She added that the partnership will strengthen Liva’s communications infrastructure while providing greater resilience and flexibility as the company develops its digital capabilities.

The partnership comes as Oman’s financial services sector continues to increase its reliance on digital platforms and technology-enabled customer services. For Liva Insurance, the agreement provides access to a broad set of telecommunications services covering network connectivity, mobile communications, security, backup links and voice infrastructure. Omantel, meanwhile, continues to position enterprise connectivity as a broader business service rather than a standalone network offering. The companies did not disclose the financial value or duration of the Master Service Agreement. The arrangement nevertheless gives Liva Insurance a unified telecommunications setup intended to support its existing operations while providing infrastructure that can accommodate further digital services and changing customer requirements across Oman.
