Microsoft has announced AI Skills Fest 2026, a free global learning event running from June 8 to June 12, 2026, inviting students, professionals, and technology enthusiasts from around the world to build and certify their artificial intelligence skills across a range of curated learning paths. The event is open to participants at all levels, from those taking their first steps in artificial intelligence to those already building and deploying solutions, and is accessible through the official registration portal at https://aiskillsnavigator.microsoft.com/events/AISF2026.

Participants who register and complete AI Skills Fest playlists can unlock a meaningful set of perks across three categories. On the certification side, completing any AI Skills Fest playlist makes participants eligible to earn a voucher for 100 percent off select Microsoft Certification exams, giving learners a direct and cost-free pathway to globally recognised credentials that carry weight with employers across the technology industry. For those seeking tangible recognition of their progress, completing an AI Skills Fest playlist also earns a Credly-hosted AI Skills Fest digital badge that can be shared on professional networks and social media platforms, providing a visible marker of learning achievement that goes beyond a simple completion certificate.

The event also includes a sweepstakes element open to registered participants, offering the chance to win prizes including a VIP Ignite Experience, Microsoft merchandise, and limited-edition AI Skills Fest gear. The sweepstakes is available to participants in the United States excluding Quebec, Mexico, India, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany. Beyond the individual perks, the event is designed to connect participants with a global community of learners working across artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and adjacent technology domains, with the broader goal of creating a shared momentum around artificial intelligence skill-building across industries and geographies.

For Pakistani technology professionals, students, and developers, AI Skills Fest 2026 represents a particularly timely opportunity given the country’s growing emphasis on artificial intelligence as a driver of IT export growth, digital governance, and economic modernisation. As organisations across Pakistan in sectors from financial services to agriculture and healthcare begin integrating artificial intelligence tools into their operations, professionals who can demonstrate certified competency in applied artificial intelligence will be increasingly well-positioned in both the domestic and international job markets. With no cost to register and globally accessible learning content available through Microsoft Learn, the barrier to participation is minimal and the potential return in terms of skills and credentials is significant.
