Riphah School of Computing and Innovation (RSCI) at Riphah International University has announced the 2nd International Conference on Computing and Innovation (ICCI 2026), scheduled to take place on December 8 and 9, 2026, in Lahore. The conference will be held in hybrid mode under the theme “Beyond Intelligence: AI for Sustainable Innovation, Human Empowerment, and Global Impact.” ICCI 2026 is inviting researchers, academicians, industry professionals, innovators, entrepreneurs, policymakers and students from around the world to present research, innovations and practical solutions across computing and emerging technology fields. The conference is designed to provide a platform for discussions around artificial intelligence, intelligent computing and the role of technology in addressing research and industry challenges. Participants will be able to submit work covering areas ranging from artificial intelligence and natural language processing to cybersecurity, software engineering, cloud computing and emerging technologies.

The conference will cover a broad range of research areas, including artificial intelligence and intelligent computing, natural language processing and human-centered artificial intelligence, computer vision and pattern recognition, data science, big data and analytics. Other areas include cybersecurity, privacy and digital trust, software engineering, systems and DevOps, cloud and distributed computing, Internet of Things, robotics and smart systems. The call for papers also includes biomedical engineering and digital health, sustainable and green computing, as well as innovation, entrepreneurship and emerging technologies. This range of topics is intended to bring together academic and industry perspectives across several areas of computing and technology, giving participants an opportunity to present research and discuss developments within their respective fields.

According to the conference announcement, the deadline for paper submissions is October 15, 2026, followed by acceptance notifications on October 31. Authors whose papers are accepted will have until November 15 to submit their camera-ready versions. The conference itself will take place on December 8 and 9 at Riphah School of Computing and Innovation in Lahore. The organizers have also stated that all accepted and presented papers will be submitted for possible inclusion in Higher Education Commission recognized and Scopus indexed journals. Researchers and prospective participants can access the conference and paper submission portals through the links provided by the organizers.

ICCI 2026 is expected to bring together participants working across research, education, industry and technology development. Its focus on artificial intelligence, sustainable innovation and emerging computing technologies reflects the range of subjects being explored by researchers and technology professionals. The hybrid format will allow participants to engage with the conference through both physical and online participation. With the paper submission deadline set for October 15, researchers interested in presenting their work at the event will have an opportunity to submit studies and innovations aligned with the listed conference areas.
