Pakistan’s national artificial intelligence platform, Indus AI Week 2026, will take place in Islamabad this February, positioning itself as a key national forum for advancing artificial intelligence adoption, industry collaboration and skills development. The multi day initiative is expected to bring together representatives from government, PASHA member companies, Tech Destination Pakistan, startups, academia and international stakeholders under a shared objective of strengthening Pakistan’s AI ecosystem. Designed as an inclusive and participatory platform, the event will provide space for dialogue, demonstrations and practical engagement around how artificial intelligence can be integrated into business operations, public sector initiatives and emerging technology solutions across the country.

The Innovation, Learning and Engagement Arena will serve as the focal point of activity throughout the week, offering attendees a comprehensive view of AI applications shaping Pakistan’s digital economy. Participants will be able to explore live demonstrations, technology showcases and interactive experiences highlighting the role of AI in areas such as cloud services, automation, gaming, data driven decision making and product development. Competitive initiatives including AI focused challenges, techathon and creative showcases are planned to encourage participation from students, developers and early stage founders, reinforcing the importance of hands-on learning and experimentation. Training programmes and bootcamps running alongside these activities will focus on capacity building by equipping participants with skills aligned with industry demand and export oriented services.

A key feature of Indus AI Week 2026 will be its focus on inclusive participation, particularly through the AI For Her initiative. This segment will spotlight the role of women in Pakistan’s AI and technology landscape by showcasing women led startups, professional journeys and discussions around career development and entrepreneurship. The initiative is expected to support broader ecosystem goals of expanding access to opportunities and building diverse leadership within the tech sector. By providing visibility and structured engagement, the programme will aim to encourage greater participation of women in emerging technology domains.

Thought leadership sessions will form another central pillar of the event, bringing together industry professionals, solution providers and technology experts to share insights on AI driven transformation. These discussions will cover practical use cases, challenges associated with scaling AI solutions, export readiness of AI enabled services and evolving global market expectations. Sessions will also explore how Pakistan’s technology sector can leverage artificial intelligence to enhance competitiveness while aligning with regulatory frameworks and responsible innovation practices. By facilitating exchanges between experienced leaders and emerging talent, Indus AI Week 2026 is set to position itself as a knowledge driven platform supporting Pakistan’s long term AI ambitions.
