Foodpanda, Pakistan’s leading food delivery platform, is partnering with CIRCLE, a tech organization dedicated to women’s economic empowerment. This collaboration aims to equip female chefs with the skills and resources they need to thrive in the digital food industry.

CIRCLE will provide training programs focused on digital skills crucial for success as HomeChefs on Foodpanda’s platform. These skills include social media marketing, leveraging smartphone capabilities, understanding payment gateways, and utilizing tech solutions for financial inclusion.

Foodpanda’s commitment goes beyond training. They’ll offer reduced commissions and special concessions to new HomeChefs onboarded through CIRCLE’s programs. Additionally, dedicated telesales teams will work closely with each new HomeChef, providing 30 days of incubation support. This support includes guidance on menu planning, creating deals and combos, setting pricing strategies, understanding regional cuisine popularity, and working hours.

To further empower these graduates, Foodpanda will conduct special sessions highlighting the benefits of joining their platform. These sessions will emphasize the ease of doing business with Foodpanda, the comprehensive support offered, and the valuable 30-day incubation program.

Both Foodpanda and CIRCLE are excited about the partnership’s potential. Ahsan Malik, Head of Sales at Foodpanda, stated their enthusiasm for empowering women entrepreneurs across Pakistan. He believes this collaboration strengthens their commitment to diversity and innovation in the food industry. By providing training and resources, they aim to unlock the potential of talented female chefs and create new avenues for success.

CIRCLE’s CEO, Sadaffe Abid, echoed this sentiment. She views the partnership as a powerful force for positive change by combining CIRCLE’s expertise with Foodpanda’s platform. This collaboration reflects their shared goal of driving economic empowerment and building a more inclusive society. CIRCLE, with its proven track record of empowering women across Pakistan and its alignment with UN Sustainable Development Goals, brings valuable experience to the table. Their focus on tech-driven skills training aims to unlock opportunities for women in developing nations.
