The Centre for Information and Communication Technology at the Institute of Business Administration is offering three hands-on workshops in October, covering Power BI, AI driven customer innovation, and AI applications in business analytics. The workshops are designed to give professionals practical, applied exposure to data and AI tools rather than a purely theoretical overview of the subjects.

The first workshop, Power BI for Business Analytics and Decision-Making, is a one-day session scheduled for October 16, running eight hours from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Led by trainer Syed Aftab Ahmed of IBA-CICT, the workshop covers dashboard building, data visualization, business analytics, decision-making, and Power BI applications, giving participants a hands-on approach to using the tool for data driven decision-making. The session is priced at Rs. 45,000 plus 3 percent SST.

The second workshop, AI for Customer-Centric Innovation, runs over three days from October 21 to 23, totaling 24 hours of instruction across the same 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM schedule. The session is led by Dr. Faisal Iradat, Associate Professor and Technologist, Head of the Research and Telecommunication Lab at IBA Karachi, and covers AI-driven solutions, customer insights, personalized experiences, smart decision-making, and practical AI applications. This workshop is priced at Rs. 135,000 plus 3 percent SST, reflecting its longer, more extensive format compared to the single-day Power BI session.

The third workshop, AI in Business Analytics, is a two-day session scheduled for October 29 and 30, running 16 hours in total. It is co-led by Dr. Faisal Iradat and trainer Kashif Hussain of IBA-CICT, covering AI-powered data analysis, hands-on analytics applications, data-driven decision-making, predictive insights and forecasting, and real-world business use cases. This workshop is priced at Rs. 140,000 plus 3 percent SST.

All three workshops offer an early bird discount of 15 percent for registrations made before October 10, 2026, along with a 20 percent group discount for groups of five or more participants. Seats are described as limited across all three sessions, with interested participants able to enroll through the QR code or contact details listed in each workshop’s promotional material. The range of workshops, spanning a single day Power BI session to a three day AI innovation program, gives professionals at different levels of commitment and budget an option suited to their specific learning goals in data analytics and AI applications.
