Apple is preparing to expand its premium device lineup with three new Ultra products expected later this year, aiming to attract customers who prioritize advanced features and design over affordability. According to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, Apple has already covered the entry-level and mid-range markets with devices such as Apple Watch SE, iPad 11, and MacBook Neo, and now appears focused on offering high-end experiences to users willing to invest in the latest technology. The move suggests Apple is emphasizing refinement and innovation in its premium segment while exploring new ways to integrate hardware and software features.

The anticipated iPhone Ultra is likely to be Apple’s first foldable phone, with reports indicating a price point around two thousand US dollars. The device is expected to include a large inner display and under-display sensors, which would place it at the forefront of Apple’s innovation within mobile technology. Alongside the iPhone, Apple is reportedly developing AirPods Ultra, which would exceed AirPods Pro in both price and capability. These earbuds may feature computer-vision cameras that provide visual data directly to Siri, signaling an enhanced interface between artificial intelligence and user interaction. This level of integration reflects Apple’s approach to combining performance with intelligent features in a seamless manner.

MacBook Ultra is also in development and could feature a touch-enabled OLED display, which would mark a notable upgrade over current MacBook Pro models. Rather than replacing M5 Pro or M5 Max laptops, the new device is expected to occupy a more premium position, potentially increasing costs by twenty percent compared to existing high-end models. Gurman noted that Apple may not adopt Ultra branding for every device, as seen with Studio Display XDR, but the brand is already familiar to consumers through M-series Ultra chips, Apple Watch Ultra, and CarPlay Ultra, indicating that the naming convention will remain selective.

Industry observers have suggested that these developments signal Apple’s continuing focus on providing advanced options for consumers who are willing to invest in premium technology. Potential future products may include foldable OLED iPads and larger, more powerful iMac models. For now, the three Ultra devices represent Apple’s effort to strengthen its high-end portfolio with products that combine performance, display technology, and artificial intelligence capabilities.
