TCL Electronics has made strides in the Smart TV industry and have now been awarded by the GfK as the number 1 Smart TV brand in Pakistan for 2019
TCL Corporation is a Chinese multinational electronics company headquartered in Huizhou, Guangdong Province. It designs, develops, manufactures and sells products including television sets, mobile phones, air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators and small electrical appliances. TCL have widely gained fame and traction in Pakistan and have now added another milestone in Pakistan by being awarded the No. 1 ranked TV Brand in the country.
This award was given in accordance to a recent data shared by GfK, a globally renowned research firm. According to the market results shared by the company, in July 2019, TCL gained the highest share in terms of sales value, acquiring close to 17% of the total market. This was a further improvement from the previous terms report from March 2019 in whichTCL held a 14.5% share. The company also has made strides in the Smart TV market in the previous years as they have been the No. 1 Smart TV producers in the Pakistani market for the previous 2 years.
TCL has consistently worked on the success of the Smart TV market and have expanded its market share to being ranked the No. 1 TV brand overall. Sunny Yang, General Manager at TCL Pakistan, spoke on the success of the company and said that: “Pakistan has always been a key strategic market for us in our overall global strategy. Our success in reaching No. 1 here really highlights the excellent response of the customers to our products and it is our promise to continue bringing consumers an outstanding TV viewing experience”. This was added on by the Marketing Manager of TCL Pakistan, MajidNiazi who said that: “We are elated and highly grateful for the success that TCL has experienced here in Pakistan. Reaching the No. 1 position is a huge milestone for us and we look forward to building on our success and delivering even more premium quality products in televisions as well as our upcoming product lines like Air Conditioners to consumers here”.
