Zong 4G has partnered with SecureTeen, a digital parental control service, to provide parents with powerful tools to safeguard their children’s internet usage. This initiative aligns with Zong 4G’s commitment to promoting digital well-being and ensuring a secure online experience for families.

With an increasing number of children and teenagers gaining access to the internet, the risks associated with unrestricted browsing have become a pressing concern for parents. Exposure to inappropriate content, excessive screen time, online predators, and cyberbullying are among the many threats that children face in the digital world. Recognizing these dangers, Zong 4G and SecureTeen have introduced a comprehensive solution that allows parents to monitor and manage their children’s online activities effectively.

SecureTeen is equipped with a range of features designed to provide a safer digital environment. These include web filtering, which blocks access to inappropriate websites and harmful content, and app monitoring, which enables parents to track app usage and restrict access to specific applications. The service also includes location tracking, offering real-time updates on a child’s whereabouts, ensuring an added layer of security. Additionally, call and SMS monitoring allows parents to keep track of their child’s communications, helping them identify and prevent potential risks.

Screen time management is another critical feature of SecureTeen, allowing parents to set daily usage limits and prevent excessive screen exposure. This helps in maintaining a healthy balance between online and offline activities. The service also generates detailed activity reports, providing insights into a child’s online behavior, and offers remote management, allowing parents to control settings from their own devices with ease.

Zong 4G customers can subscribe to SecureTeen through the official web portal at zong.secureteen.com.pk, with flexible subscription plans catering to different needs. The service is available exclusively for Zong users, with pricing options including a daily plan at Rs. 5, a weekly plan at Rs. 25, and a monthly plan at Rs. 96, inclusive of taxes. Customers can also subscribe via USSD by dialing *5996#. Sajid Munir, Director of Marketing at Zong 4G, emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating:

“Ensuring a safe and responsible digital experience for children is a crucial part of our vision for a connected Pakistan. Through our partnership with SecureTeen, we are providing parents with the necessary tools to safeguard their children’s internet usage, reinforcing Zong 4G’s commitment to promoting digital well-being and online safety.”

Zong 4G has consistently led the way in introducing advanced digital solutions aimed at enhancing the lives of its customers. The collaboration with SecureTeen is another step in the company’s ongoing mission to ensure a safe and seamless digital experience for families across Pakistan. By leveraging innovative technology, Zong 4G and SecureTeen are empowering parents to take control of their children’s digital habits, making the internet a safer space for the next generation.
