Tecno has quietly made the Camon Slim official by listing it on its global website without announcing a price or release date, introducing a slim-profile smartphone that pairs a 6.39mm curved body with a distinctive 354 mini-LED lighting system integrated into the rear camera module.

The phone features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1224 by 2720 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate, backed by a MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate processor paired with 8 gigabytes of RAM and support for up to 16 gigabytes of virtual RAM expansion. Storage options cover 128 gigabytes and 256 gigabytes, with a microSD card slot supporting up to 2 terabytes of expandable storage. The device runs HiOS 16.2 and supports dual speakers with Dolby Atmos, NFC, and an infrared blaster. The absence of 5G support, with the phone covering only 2G, 3G, and 4G networks, suggests Tecno intends a selective market rollout rather than a broad global launch.

The most visually distinctive feature is the AI Mood Light system on the rear, which uses 354 mini-LEDs arranged within the camera module to produce different lighting effects for notifications and other interactions. This positions the Camon Slim within a niche of smartphones using ambient lighting as a design and notification differentiator, an approach that has seen growing interest across budget and mid-range Android devices in recent years. On the camera side, the rear setup is led by a 50 megapixel Sony LYT-600 sensor with a 1 and a half inch sensor size alongside a flicker sensor, while the front carries a 32 megapixel camera. Camera features include underwater photography support, Artificial Intelligence image tools, and multiple portrait focal lengths.

The 5,600 milliampere-hour battery supports 60 watt fast charging, with Tecno claiming the cell is engineered to remain durable for up to five years of regular use. The Camon Slim carries IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings alongside a military-grade durability certification, giving it a protection profile that sits well above what the typical slim-design smartphone offers. Colour options span New Mondrian, Prism Black, Jungle Green, Van Gogh Blue, and Burgundy Red. Tecno has not yet confirmed pricing or regional availability, leaving the question of whether the device will reach the Pakistani market open until a formal launch announcement is made.
