Tech Valley is set to host its next Friday Fix session, titled Sheets for People Who Hate Spreadsheets, on July 17 at 3 PM Pakistan Standard Time. The 60 minute online session will focus on using Google’s Gemini AI within Google Sheets to simplify common spreadsheet tasks that typically require manual data cleanup or knowledge of complex functions.

The session is aimed at K-12 educators, higher education faculty, school administrators, and other professionals who regularly spend time on manual data entry or spreadsheet related tasks. Organisers said participants will learn to describe what they need in plain, everyday language and let Gemini handle the underlying spreadsheet work, rather than needing to memorise formulas or built in functions themselves. Attendees are expected to leave the live session with a working tracker and chart built during the session itself.

The webinar forms part of Tech Valley’s broader Gemini for Education initiative, which the company has been rolling out across Pakistani schools and universities as the official Google for Education partner in the country. Gemini’s integration across Google Workspace applications, including Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Gmail, allows users to perform tasks such as natural language data analysis, automated table generation, and AI assisted drafting directly within familiar productivity tools rather than requiring a separate application.

Tech Valley has run similar training sessions and webinars in the past as part of its Gemini Academy programme, which offers educators structured, self paced training on using Google’s AI tools within classroom and administrative settings. The company has also established several Gemini Corners and Centers of Excellence at schools and universities across Pakistan over the past year, aimed at giving students and faculty hands on access to Google’s education focused AI tools.

Registration for the Friday Fix session is open through a link shared by Tech Valley, with the company noting that seats for the live session are limited. The session adds to a growing set of short, practically focused training sessions Tech Valley has offered educators and professionals as part of its wider push to expand AI literacy and digital skills adoption across Pakistan’s education sector.
