TDAP and PSEB convened a high-level meeting in Islamabad to explore strategic avenues for collaboration. The meeting brought together Ms. Rafia Syed, Director General TDAP Punjab / Services Division, and Mr. Muhammad Abu Bakar, CEO of PSEB, who jointly reaffirmed their commitment to advancing the country’s digital economy through institutional synergy.

The discussions focused on strengthening the foundations laid by the existing MoU between TDAP and PSEB. Both leaders emphasized the need to take actionable steps aimed at enhancing Pakistan’s IT export competitiveness in global markets, while also improving the facilitation services available to exporters. This includes support mechanisms for emerging tech enterprises, better promotion of local talent on international platforms, and a concerted push toward increasing the visibility of Pakistani IT products and services.

During the meeting, CEO PSEB Muhammad Abu Bakar extended an official invitation to DG TDAP to participate in the upcoming Digital FDI (DFDI) conference in Islamabad. The event is poised to serve as a strategic platform for attracting foreign direct investment into Pakistan’s growing digital sector, drawing key stakeholders from both domestic and international spheres. The leaders also planned to continue this collaborative dialogue at the upcoming ITCN Asia event in Lahore, where both PSEB and TDAP are expected to play active roles. This follow-up meeting is intended to cement the outcomes of today’s discussions and ensure continuity in their shared mission of IT sector development.

This meeting underscores the growing importance of inter-agency cooperation in creating a sustainable and globally competitive digital ecosystem. As the demand for IT services continues to rise globally, both TDAP and PSEB are positioning themselves to ensure that Pakistan’s technology sector is not only export-ready but also innovation-driven and investment-friendly. With renewed commitment and strategic alignment, the partnership between TDAP and PSEB is set to play a pivotal role in transforming Pakistan into a dynamic player in the global digital economy.
