In a move towards digitization, Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated an e-registry model center in Lahore. Speaking to the media, the chief minister revealed that a notable milestone has been achieved with the creation of 221000 e-registries.

Highlighting the transition from the manual registry system to the new e-registry system, the chief minister emphasized that the entire process is now computerized. This technological shift streamlines and enhances efficiency, eliminating the need for traditional manual registries.

Chief Minister Naqvi highlighted that, with the exception of the finalization of the sub registrar’s signature, the entire process is now conducted electronically. This marks a significant advancement in administrative processes, promoting transparency and expediting the completion of transactions.

The inauguration of the e-registry model center signifies the government’s commitment to embracing modern technology to improve governance and service delivery in the region. The move is expected to bring about increased efficiency, reduce paperwork, and provide citizens with a more streamlined and accessible registry process.
