IEEE Student Branch UET Taxila is bringing together its Directors and Deputy Directors for an insightful session on Reporting and Discussion focused on IEEE vTools, in collaboration with all IEEE Society Chapters operating under the branch. The session is designed as a collaborative space for those in leadership roles to learn, connect and strengthen their understanding of formal IEEE reporting and documentation practices.
The session is scheduled to take place on September 7, 2026 at 9:00 PM, conducted virtually over MS Teams to allow participation from members across the branch’s various society chapters. Participating chapters include Power Electronics Society, Communications Society, Women in Engineering, Industry Applications Society, Robotics and Automation Society, Control Systems Society, and Signal Processing Society and Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, reflecting the wide scope of IEEE’s technical societies represented within the UET Taxila student branch structure.
The session is specifically aimed at Directors and Deputy Directors across these chapters, who are encouraged to attend and learn formal reporting practices tied to IEEE vTools, a platform commonly used by IEEE branches and chapters worldwide to document activities, track events and maintain organisational records in line with IEEE’s broader reporting standards. For student branch leadership, understanding these tools and processes is typically an important part of ensuring chapters remain compliant with IEEE’s documentation requirements while also improving the overall organisation and continuity of activities carried out under each society.
Participants attending the session will also receive certificates upon completion, adding a formal record of participation for those involved in the training.
