Pakistan Software Export Board has invited Expressions of Interest from consultancy firms for the review of project documents related to the Establishment of IT Park Karachi. The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to support the development of technology infrastructure and strengthen the information technology sector through structured project evaluation and planning processes. The Expression of Interest outlines requirements for experienced consultancy firms capable of assessing technical, financial and operational aspects of the project in line with public procurement standards.

According to the official notice, interested firms are required to submit their applications electronically through the e Procurement and Disposal System. The deadline for submission has been set for June 18, 2026 at 3:00 pm, after which proposals will be opened the same day at 3:30 pm in the presence of authorized representatives. The submission process is limited to the online portal, and firms are encouraged to complete registration and documentation requirements in advance to avoid delays during the application process. Additional details, including eligibility criteria and submission guidelines, are available through the official EPADS platform at https://lnkd.in/dW-EVSkY.

The scope of work for selected consultancy firms includes reviewing feasibility studies, detailed engineering designs, bills of quantities, technical specifications, cost estimates and associated documentation for the IT Park Karachi project. The evaluation process will follow criteria defined in the Expression of Interest document, with shortlisted firms proceeding to the next stage based on their qualifications and relevant experience. In cases where firms apply as joint ventures or consortiums, the lead partner will be considered for qualification and evaluation purposes.

This development reflects continued efforts by the Pakistan Software Export Board and Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication to advance infrastructure projects that support the growth of the technology ecosystem. The IT Park Karachi project is expected to contribute to the expansion of facilities for technology companies and professionals, aligning with broader objectives under Tech Destination Pakistan. By engaging qualified consultancy firms for document review, the initiative aims to ensure transparency, accuracy and efficiency in the planning and execution phases of the project.
