Pakistan Software Export Board has announced an extension in the submission deadline for its Request for Proposal related to the selection of training firms for delivering boot camp trainings under the Prime Minister initiative focused on capacity building of the information technology industry in specialized technologies and platforms. The corrigendum follows an earlier advertisement published in national newspapers and reflects continued efforts to engage qualified training providers for large scale skills development programs aligned with industry requirements. The initiative is part of broader efforts to enhance technical expertise and certification readiness within the local workforce.
According to the updated schedule, interested training firms can now submit their proposals until June 9, 2026 by 3:00 pm, while the opening of proposals is scheduled for the same day at 3:30 pm. Submissions are to be made to the Manager Procurement at the Pakistan Software Export Board head office located in Islamabad. Officials have clarified that all other terms and conditions outlined in the original Request for Proposal remain unchanged, ensuring consistency in evaluation criteria and participation requirements for applicants.
The selected firms under this program will be responsible for delivering 300 hours of boot camp training designed to prepare participants for relevant certifications in selected information technology streams. These training programs are intended to address skill gaps and support workforce readiness in areas that are increasingly in demand across global and local markets. By focusing on specialized technologies, the initiative aims to contribute to the development of a more competitive and capable talent pool within the technology sector.
The deadline extension provides additional time for training providers to finalize and submit their proposals, potentially increasing participation from qualified organizations. It also reflects the importance of ensuring a thorough selection process for programs that carry significant impact on workforce development. As part of initiatives associated with the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication and Tech Destination Pakistan, this effort continues to align with ongoing priorities related to digital skills training and industry capacity building across the country.
