Pakistan Sweden Business Council Signs P@SHA for IT Summit Support

Pakistan Software Houses Association, in collaboration with ITCN held an Industry Iftar, inviting CEOs/CXOs from technology companies, media and startups for an evening of networking and a couple of announcements.

One of the main highlights of the evening was the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing between the Pakistan Sweden Business Council (PSBC) and Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA).

Secretary General, Mr Syed Naseh signed the agreement with Mr Barkan Saeed, Chairman of Pakistan Software Housing Association (PASHA). The purpose of the Momorandum was to closely collaborate and organise the Nordic Pakistan IT Summit in Stockholm in November this year.

Nordic Pakistan IT Summit aims to increase bilateral IT trade between Pakistan and the Nordic Countries. This year the summit will focus on:

  • Introducing Pakistani IT Products and Startups to the Nordic Region.
  • Present Pakistan as a viable market expansion destination for Nordic IT Products and Services
  • Present Pakistan as a leading offshore tech development partner.

PSBC’s Secretary General, Syed Naseh said,

“Events like NPIT Summit are important to increase the visibility of Pakistan’s IT sector
especially in the Nordic Region.”
