The national search for Pakistan’s next export ready technology startups has begun as PIXS 2026 prepares to conduct regional rounds across multiple cities. The initiative is organized by Pakistan Software Export Board in collaboration with Trade Development Authority of Pakistan with the objective of identifying startups capable of competing in global technology markets. Through a series of city level engagements, the program aims to provide emerging ventures an opportunity to present their innovations before expert juries and industry stakeholders.

Regional rounds will be conducted in several major cities, allowing entrepreneurs from different parts of the country to participate and showcase their solutions. Founders will present their ventures before regional juries where projects will be assessed on innovation, scalability and their potential to generate international demand. The initiative particularly highlights startups working in fields such as artificial intelligence, deep technology, climate focused innovation and sustainability. Women led startups are also being encouraged to participate as part of the broader effort to strengthen diversity within Pakistan’s technology ecosystem.

The roadshow is scheduled to begin in Lahore on 10 March 2026 and will continue with events in other cities including Multan, Faisalabad, Karachi, Quetta, Peshawar, Islamabad and Gilgit Baltistan throughout the month of March. Each regional round will select promising ventures that demonstrate export potential and readiness to scale in international markets. These selected startups will move forward to the national stage where they will compete for recognition and visibility within the broader technology sector.

The initiative will conclude with the PIXS Finale in April 2026, bringing together finalists from across the country. The platform has been designed to strengthen Pakistan’s technology exports by identifying ventures capable of addressing global challenges through innovative solutions. By connecting entrepreneurs with industry experts, investors and policy stakeholders, PIXS 2026 aims to spotlight startups that have the capacity to expand beyond domestic markets and contribute to the growth of Pakistan’s digital economy.
