Pakistan IT Industry Association, widely known as PASHA, has announced its participation in TechEx North America 2026, scheduled to take place from May 18 to 19 in the United States. The industry body said Pakistan’s technology sector will be represented at the international event with the support of several public and private sector organisations working to promote the country’s digital economy and technology exports.
According to PASHA, the initiative is being supported by partners including Tech Destination Pakistan, HBL, Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication Pakistan, Special Investment Facilitation Council, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, Pakistan Embassy in the United States and Eventage. The association stated that the collaboration reflects ongoing efforts to position Pakistan’s technology industry on international platforms where global companies, investors and technology professionals gather to discuss developments in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, enterprise solutions and digital transformation.
PASHA noted that participation in global technology exhibitions has become increasingly important for Pakistani companies seeking international clients, partnerships and investment opportunities. Industry representatives believe such events provide visibility to local firms offering software development, business process outsourcing, financial technology and artificial intelligence related services. The association added that Pakistani technology companies continue to expand their presence in international markets as exports from the information technology sector maintain upward momentum in recent years.
Officials associated with the initiative stated that participation at TechEx North America 2026 is also intended to highlight Pakistan’s growing startup ecosystem, technology talent and export capabilities. The event is expected to bring together technology companies, policymakers and investors from different countries, creating opportunities for business networking and market access discussions. PASHA said updates regarding Pakistan’s presence and engagements during the event will be shared throughout the exhibition period.
The participation also aligns with broader government and industry efforts to promote Pakistan as a destination for information technology investment and digital services. Organisations supporting the initiative have regularly participated in international exhibitions and trade forums to attract foreign business partnerships and improve global visibility for Pakistan’s technology sector. Industry stakeholders believe consistent representation at international technology events remains important for increasing export opportunities and building long term business connections for Pakistani firms operating in competitive global markets.
