PASHA CEC Election Results Introduce New Committee Members For 2026-2028

Pakistan Software Houses Association for IT & ITeS (P@SHA) has announced the provisional results of its Central Executive Committee (CEC) Elections for the 2026 to 2028 term. The results were issued by the Election Commission of PASHA following polling held on Thursday, September 17, 2026, across Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. The election process was conducted according to the Election Schedule 2026 notified under the Trade Organizations Act, 2013 and Trade Organizations Rules, 2013, with procedures implemented in line with requirements set by the Directorate General of Trade Organizations (DGTO).

According to the official announcement shared by PASHA, the provisional results were finalized after vote counting was conducted under the supervision of Election Commission members Dr. Aftab Maroof, Talib S. Karim and Dr. Kashif Zafar. The counting process was conducted in-camera in the presence of observers, including candidates and their polling agents. PASHA confirmed that no objections were recorded at any polling station regarding the vote-counting process. The complete provisional results document is available on PASHA official website.

The elected members of the Central Executive Committee include representatives from Corporate Class, Associate Class and Women Reserved Seats. The results are as follows:

Corporate Class (07 Seats)

  1. Dr. Shoab Ahmed Khan, CARE (Pvt.) Ltd.
  2. Faisal Kamiran, ADDO AI
  3. Khushnood Aftab, Viper Technology (Pvt.) Ltd.
  4. Mohammad Zohaib Khan, A2Z Creatorz
  5. Muhammad Azam Mughal, SecureBeans
  6. Samad Saleem, Digi Trends (Pvt.) Ltd.
  7. Syed Junaid Ahmad, Softoo (Pvt.) Ltd.

Associate Class (03 Seats)

  1. Ahmed Javed Vaseer, Ing.Con Softworks (Pvt.) Ltd.
  2. Shaikh Ayaz Ali, KNOATIV
  3. Wahab Yunus, Eraflip Tech (SMC-Pvt.) Ltd.

Women Reserved Seats (02 Seats)

  1. Fatima Asad-Said, Abacus Consulting Technology Limited
  2. Shawana Iftikhar, Work Generations (Pvt.) Ltd.

The Women Reserved Seats election was conducted separately on Friday, September 18, 2026, where newly elected CEC members participated as voters. PASHA stated that the results remain provisional, with the final announcement of the Central Executive Committee election results scheduled during the Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. The final results will then be submitted to the regulator within seven days according to Rule 18(19) and (21) of the Trade Organizations Rules, 2013. The newly elected committee will continue PASHA’s role in representing Pakistan’s software and IT services sector, supporting industry priorities, and engaging with technology companies, policymakers and stakeholders to strengthen the country’s digital ecosystem.
