The 28th ITCN Asia is scheduled to take place from September 22 to 24, 2026, at Expo Centre Karachi, with the event expected to cover a broad range of technology sectors including artificial intelligence, cloud computing, data centres, cybersecurity, enterprise technology, education, banking and finance, ecommerce and other emerging digital solutions. According to the event organizers, ITCN Asia is designed as a three-day platform for technology showcases, networking, knowledge sharing and business opportunities, connecting participants from different parts of the technology and startup ecosystem.
ITCN Asia has developed over more than two decades from an information technology and telecom exhibition into a broader technology platform covering areas that are increasingly important to Pakistan’s digital economy. The event was launched in 2001 with a focus on positioning Pakistan as a regional technology hub and attracting international technology companies and participants. Its themes have expanded over the years alongside changes in the technology industry, moving through telecom, software, IT outsourcing, cloud computing, cybersecurity, ecommerce, mobile applications, fintech, smart cities, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and other areas. The upcoming Karachi edition will continue this wider approach, with artificial intelligence, technology infrastructure, investment, entrepreneurship and cybersecurity among the major areas on the programme. The first day will include the Pakistan Investor Summit 2026 by NIC Karachi, while discussions around AI and technology ecosystems will form a significant part of the event. The second day will feature programmes focused on future-ready AI talent, enterprises and technology ecosystems, along with a Connected Nation leadership roundtable organized by National Telecommunication Corporation. Gaming and technology leadership will also feature in the programme. The final day will turn attention toward entrepreneurship, the creative economy, cybersecurity preparedness and an AI-ready workforce.
