In a thrilling display of skill and strategy, Pakistan’s Atif Butt emerged victorious at the Thaiger Uppercut 2023 Tekken 7 tournament, securing another prestigious esports title for the nation on Sunday.

Atif’s journey to triumph was marked by a hard-fought victory in the semi-finals against compatriot Hafiz Tanveer, where he prevailed with a 2-1 score. The final showdown saw Atif facing off against LowHigh, culminating in an intense battle that ended with Atif claiming victory with a score of 3-2.

This stellar performance maintained Atif’s remarkable unbeaten streak, solidifying his position at the pinnacle of the tournament with an impressive record of eight wins and zero losses.

The tournament showcased fierce competition among the top eight players, featuring notable matchups like LowHigh versus Ulsan in the Winners semi-final, where LowHigh secured a 2-1 victory.

LowHigh closely trailed Atif, clinching the second position with seven wins and two losses, boasting a formidable 77.78% set win rate.

The competition unfolded in multiple gripping rounds, including standout moments like Arslan Ash’s dominant 2-0 win over Patloars in Losers Round 1. The intensity carried into the Losers Quarter-Final, where CBM secured a decisive 2-0 victory against Ayorichie.

In a pivotal moment, the Losers Semi-Final witnessed Hafiz Tanveer securing a solid 2-0 win against Arslan Ash. However, the climax of the competition unfolded in the Losers Final, where Ulsan showcased their prowess with a 2-0 victory over Hafiz Tanveer, earning a coveted spot in the tournament’s later stages.

The grand finale lived up to its anticipation as LowHigh and Atif clashed in an epic battle, with Atif ultimately securing the championship title, capping off an electrifying esports spectacle.
