The Prime Minister’s Digital Youth Hub has crossed 800,000 registered users, marking a significant milestone for the artificial intelligence-powered platform that serves as the central gateway for youth engagement under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme. The achievement was acknowledged by Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, who described the platform as a national movement aimed at expanding equitable access to opportunities and improving youth employability across Pakistan.
The Digital Youth Hub is structured around four core pillars of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, namely Education, Employment, Engagement, and Environment, and is designed to connect young Pakistanis with a wide range of opportunities across all four domains from a single platform. As of the latest figures, the hub has registered 800,240 users, established partnerships with 3,163 organisations, and lists over 114,783 opportunities nationwide. Of these, 114,374 are employment openings, while the remainder includes 292 educational opportunities, 38 engagement initiatives, and 79 environment-related projects, reflecting the breadth of the platform’s scope beyond conventional job listings.
In addition to connecting users with external opportunities, the Digital Youth Hub also hosts several flagship schemes under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme. These include the Prime Minister’s Youth Business and Agriculture Loans, the Youth Skill Development Programme, the Laptop Scheme, the Pakistan Education Endowment Fund, the Green Youth Movement, and the Youth Talent Hunt and Sports League, which covers both traditional sports and electronic sports. The inclusion of these programmes on the platform consolidates what was previously a fragmented set of initiatives into a single, accessible interface for young Pakistanis regardless of where they are located in the country.
Rana Mashhood extended an open invitation to national and international organisations, development partners, educational institutions, private sector stakeholders, and government entities to join the platform and contribute to building a pipeline of globally relevant skills for Pakistani youth. The milestone underscores growing uptake of digital government platforms among younger demographics and positions the Digital Youth Hub as a key instrument in the government’s broader strategy to reduce youth unemployment and improve human capital outcomes through technology-enabled access to opportunity.
