Nukta is set to shake up the media landscape in the Middle East, South Asia, and beyond. Headquartered in Dubai, Nukta promises to deliver in-depth, informative, and engaging content across a wide range of topics.

Founded by veteran journalist Kamran Khan, Nukta boasts over five decades of journalism experience combined with a cutting-edge, digital-first approach. Their content strategy prioritizes video content, while their editorial team includes talent from leading global and local media organizations. Importantly, Nukta’s AI-powered platform, powered by Rebelmouse, streamlines editorial processes, boosts organic traffic, and provides personalized content recommendations.

“At Nukta, we are committed to keeping our followers informed, entertained, and enlightened by leveraging world-class technology,” said Kamran Khan.

“While much of today’s media stokes division and conflict, we will bring communities closer by reporting stories of tolerance, unity, and interfaith harmony.”

Nukta is more than just a news outlet; it aims to be a platform where stories come alive. With offices and correspondents in Dubai, Pakistan, India, Turkey, and the United States, the platform offers a comprehensive view of the world. Further expansion is planned, with the UK, Saudi Arabia, Canada, and Iran on the horizon.

The launch event was met with excitement from industry experts, including CEOs and heads of companies like Jazz, Unilever, Khaadi, Careem, and Shorooq Partners. Notable figures from the local community and government, including the Vice Chairperson of the Dubai Government Media Office and the Head of Dubai Media Office, were also present.

“We’re passionate about building a media organization with a purpose – to bring clarity and compassion to a complex world,” added Tanya Abbasi, Co-Founder & Chief of Brand. “As storytellers, it is our responsibility to shine a light on what truly matters and tell the whole story.”

“Our platform leverages cutting-edge AI technologies to enhance user experience and improve user retention,” Faizan Khan, Co-Founder & Chief of Strategy, stated.

“Our state-of-the-art technology allows us to create efficient newsrooms with minimized reliance on manual workforces.”

From in-depth investigative reports to breaking news, Nukta offers engaging, high-quality content across various topics. Whether you seek the latest business trends, cultural insights, or current affairs updates, Nukta aims to be your one-stop platform.

CWPK Legacy
Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995. Initially providing news to IT executives only, once CIO Pakistan, its sister brand from the same family, was launched and took over the enterprise reporting domain in Pakistan, CWPK has emerged as a holistic technology media platform reporting everything tech in the country. It remains the oldest continuous IT publishing brand in the country and in 2025 is set to turn 30 years old, which will be its biggest benchmark and a legacy it hopes to continue for years to come. CWPK is part of the SPIN/IDG Wakhan media umbrella.
