Today marked a historic milestone in electoral administration as top officials including the Caretaker Minister of Information, Chief Secretary, Home Secretary, and Inspector General gathered to inaugurate the Provincial Election Workspace (PEW) developed by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB).

The introduction of the PEW app to the Home Department promises a seamless and transparent electoral administration experience. This initiative underscores KPITB’s dedication to leading technological advancements in governance.

KPITB not only pioneers innovation but also provides reliable technical support to ensure smooth electoral processes. A control room was established at the PMRU office today for test runs in preparation for tomorrow’s election.

In anticipation of this significant event, KPITB strategically deployed two teams—one at the CPO office and another in the Home Department—ready to launch the Safe Elections and Provincial Elections Workspace applications.

With KPITB at the forefront, the future of election management unfolds, promising efficient and secure electoral processes. Stay tuned for further updates as we embark on this new era.

KPITB is the leading Information Technology Board in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, dedicated to advancing IT education, infrastructure, and innovation. Our mission is to cultivate a digital ecosystem that supports the province’s economic and social development goals.

Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995.
