GAIN Cohort 1 is continuing with its fifth session titled AI, FinTech and the Future of Global Tech Markets: Where Pakistani IT Firms Can Lead. The session will be conducted online and exclusively for PSEB-registered companies. Leading the session is Mr Faisal Aftab, founder and general partner at Zayn VC and a Pakistani-American venture capitalist with over 25 years of experience spanning technology, venture capital, and finance. Recognized globally, Mr Aftab is an early advocate of AI and emerging technologies, an Oxford alumnus, a LinkedIn Top 200 Global VC Voice, and the first Shark on Shark Tank Pakistan, bringing a unique perspective on scaling tech products for international markets.

During the session, participants will gain insights into global technology market trends in AI and FinTech, with a particular focus on the opportunities available for Pakistani IT companies. Mr Aftab is expected to provide practical advice on building venture-ready and scalable tech products capable of competing beyond the services sector. The discussion will highlight strategies for aligning technology development with the expectations of global investors while leveraging emerging trends to drive export growth. Emphasis will be placed on understanding investor priorities, identifying market gaps, and utilizing technology innovation to achieve sustainable growth.

The session also explores the integration of AI, FinTech, and other emerging technologies in the creation of scalable products. Mr Aftab’s experience in venture capital and global markets allows him to provide actionable guidance on product positioning, investor engagement, and technology adoption for export-driven initiatives. The focus on venture readiness ensures that participating companies can evaluate their existing offerings and refine them to meet international standards. This approach aims to equip Pakistani IT firms with the knowledge required to expand into global markets and compete with established international players.

GAIN Cohort 1’s Session 5 represents a unique learning opportunity for technology companies registered with PSEB, offering insights that combine investment strategy, product development, and market understanding. Interested companies can register for the session through https://lnkd.in/dgRiPFEp. By participating, IT firms can gain exposure to expert perspectives on AI and FinTech, refine their strategies for product scalability, and explore ways to leverage emerging technologies for growth in the global technology ecosystem. This session underscores the importance of aligning local technological innovation with global market expectations to support sustainable export growth and development in Pakistan’s IT sector.
