PSEB (Pakistan Software Export Board) has announced the ninth session of its GAIN Programme, welcoming Tariq Khan, Clinical Professor at New York University and President of OPEN Global, as the featured speaker. The session focuses on one of the most critical challenges facing Pakistan’s technology sector: building export-ready ventures capable of competing and succeeding in international markets. Khan brings a rare combination of Fortune 500 corporate leadership and academic excellence to the programme, making Session 9 one of the most high-profile engagements in the GAIN series to date.

With over 20 years of experience in senior leadership roles at global organisations including ING, Nationwide, and MetLife, Khan has built a distinguished career at the intersection of strategic marketing, inclusive leadership, and institutional transformation. As a published author and speaker who has shared stages with United States Presidents and global chief executives, he brings firsthand knowledge of what it takes for organisations and individuals from diverse backgrounds to break through on the international stage. His current role as President of OPEN Global, a network focused on empowering entrepreneurs of Pakistani and South Asian origin, gives his perspective particular relevance for the Pakistani technology community looking to scale globally.

The session will provide participants with strategic and actionable insights into how inclusive leadership can drive innovation and position Pakistani technology companies to compete effectively in international markets. The GAIN Programme, run by PSEB in collaboration with the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, is designed to connect Pakistan’s technology industry with global thought leaders, practitioners, and networks that can accelerate the country’s information technology export ambitions. Professionals and founders interested in attending Session 9 can register through the official link at lnkd.in/dUVhSKXm to secure their place in what promises to be a session of considerable practical value for anyone building or scaling a technology business with international ambitions.
