Digitt+, Pakistan’s first agri fintech company and electronic money institute, has partnered with Covalent, a SAAS/PAAS pioneer and joint venture between Access Group and TPS, to launch a revolutionary platform called “Zariya.” This new initiative aims to reshape the fintech landscape in Pakistan by empowering startups and fintech companies with advanced Banking as a Service (BAAS) solutions.

Zariya stands out by offering a comprehensive suite of technological tools on a flexible pay-as-you-grow model. This allows startups to launch quickly in the region. The robust platform includes white-labeled mobile apps, digital onboarding tools, digital wallets, card issuing, and a wide range of additional services. These services include seamless funds transfers, bill payments, a generative AI chatbot, digital cheque signature verification, and more.

The platform goes a step further by integrating advanced systems for supply chain payments digitization, collections management, payroll processing, and comprehensive fraud and risk management.

“Zariya represents a significant milestone in our mission to make advanced digital financial tools more accessible,” said Mr. Umer Butt, Chief Digital Officer at Digitt+. “Our collaboration with Covalent combines our cutting-edge technology with their extensive expertise to deliver unparalleled solutions that are both innovative and affordable.”

Haris Waheed, Chief Operating Officer at Covalent, commented on the partnership’s significance. “This joint venture is a testament to our commitment to technological excellence and innovation focused on our customers’ needs. Zariya is designed not only to meet but exceed the evolving requirements of modern startups and fintech companies, ultimately facilitating their growth and scalability.”

This collaboration between Digitt+ and Covalent leverages their strengths – Digitt+’s experience in developing cutting-edge microservices technology and Covalent’s prowess as a SAAS/PAAS powerhouse – to set new benchmarks in Pakistan’s fintech sector. Zariya has the potential to be a game-changer for fintech startups, empowering them to thrive in the ever-growing digital finance landscape.
