Telenor Pakistan has announced the appointment of Bilal Javed Bhatti as its new Chief Business Officer (CBO), marking a significant addition to the company’s leadership team. With more than 20 years of professional experience across product management, customer experience, sales, and strategy, Bilal brings a strong background in driving growth and digital transformation within the telecommunications sector. His appointment reflects Telenor Pakistan’s continued focus on nurturing internal leadership talent and reinforcing its position as a leading player in the country’s mobile and digital services market.

Bilal has been an integral part of Telenor Pakistan for over 12 years, contributing to key strategic initiatives that have shaped the company’s growth trajectory. Throughout his tenure, he has played an instrumental role in expanding the organisation’s sales and distribution network while also championing customer experience through the use of AI-driven automation and advanced analytics. His leadership has been central to several of Telenor’s transformation programs, enabling the company to strengthen its digital footprint and create seamless customer engagement across multiple touchpoints.

Before his elevation to Chief Business Officer, Bilal served as Vice President Sales & Distribution, a position in which he led a team of 175 professionals and spearheaded numerous initiatives aimed at business expansion and operational excellence. Under his leadership, Telenor achieved significant milestones in channel digitization and retail transformation, establishing stronger fintech partnerships and enhancing accessibility for customers nationwide. These efforts contributed to notable revenue growth and efficiency gains across the company’s commercial functions. Bilal’s extensive experience in leading diverse teams and managing strategic partnerships has been widely acknowledged within the industry.
