Zong has launched a dedicated Business Solutions experience zone for Small and Medium Enterprises at its Customer Service Center in Islamabad. The move is part of Zong’s broader effort to evolve from a telecommunications provider into a full-spectrum digital services company. This new space enables SME customers to directly explore and engage with a curated set of digital tools and enterprise solutions designed to support business growth and digital transformation.

The Islamabad service center is the first location in a series planned across Pakistan to deliver tailored digital services to small and mid-sized businesses. The initiative aligns with Zong’s vision of building a digitally connected and innovation-driven economy by enabling greater accessibility to technology for businesses outside large enterprise circles. Through this experience zone, Zong aims to provide SMEs with not just connectivity, but also the digital infrastructure required to scale operations and increase productivity.

Muhammad Farooq Raza Khan, Head of Business Solutions at Zong, shared that the company envisions a future where businesses, irrespective of size, are empowered by intelligent digital solutions. He noted that this setup provides a tangible space for SMEs to experience tools that address their day-to-day operational needs, from communication infrastructure to cloud-based services and automation platforms.

The center offers a real-time environment for businesses to assess and interact with Zong’s enterprise portfolio, covering advanced connectivity packages, smart business applications, collaboration tools, and other value-added services. By facilitating direct engagement, Zong ensures that its solutions are relevant and tailored to the evolving demands of SME clients.

Tauseef Ur Rahman Khan, Head of Sales, emphasized the importance of regional presence and proximity to customers. He stated that embedding digital solutions into service centers allows Zong to foster stronger partnerships with businesses, creating trust-based relationships that go beyond traditional sales. He reiterated that the goal is to bring digital tools to the customer’s doorstep, making the adoption process more practical and efficient.

The SME experience zone is positioned as part of Zong’s mission to promote Digital Pakistan by accelerating the integration of digital tools into everyday business operations. It serves as a platform for both knowledge exchange and solution deployment, helping bridge the digital capability gap faced by many growing enterprises. As more service centers are adapted to include similar zones, Zong aims to create a widespread support network that contributes to the nationwide digitization of the business sector.

This initiative reflects a shift in how telecom companies approach enterprise customers, with a focus on direct solution engagement, regional access, and real-time support. Zong’s commitment to expanding these zones signals its intention to be a key player in Pakistan’s SME digital landscape by enabling practical, on-ground digital transformation.
