The Young Scientists’ Fellowship Program (YSTP), is open for applications, with the deadline set for August 31. The program, supported by the Mustafa Science and Technology Foundation (MSTF) and COMSTECH—the OIC Standing Committee on Scientific and Technical Cooperation—presents a unique opportunity for young researchers from Islamic countries to collaborate and learn from leading experts.
Hosted at the Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, the fellowship covers various research fields, including engineering, renewable energy, information technology, environmental sciences, biotechnology, and more.
Designed to nurture emerging scientific talent and strengthen capacity within Islamic societies, the program enables participants to engage in short-term research projects, share knowledge with peers, and expand international networks.
Eligible applicants must be under 40 years of age and hold at least a Master’s degree. The fellowship duration ranges from 6 to 12 months.
This opportunity allows scientists to advance their careers while contributing to the scientific development of Islamic countries. More information and applications can be found at https://step.mstfdn.org/fellowship.
