Islamabad.ai and London Ignite have launched the 100 Women Learning AI initiative, inviting women leaders, researchers and artificial intelligence enthusiasts to volunteer as trainers and help younger women develop their understanding of AI. The programme aims to connect experienced professionals with aspiring learners through mentorship and training. According to the announcement, the initiative is open to women with relevant expertise and an interest in supporting the next generation of women in technology. It is also intended to build connections among participants and professionals working in artificial intelligence across different countries and sectors.
The initiative is seeking volunteer trainers who can contribute their knowledge and guide younger women interested in artificial intelligence. The organisers highlighted a global network of professionals from the United Kingdom, United States, Austria, Egypt, Singapore, Kazakhstan and Pakistan, including leaders, researchers, doctors and founders, as well as individuals associated with the World Health Organization. By bringing together participants from different professional backgrounds, the programme aims to create opportunities for knowledge sharing, mentorship and international collaboration in AI.
Volunteer trainers will receive an internationally recognised certificate, a 50% discount on Islamabad.ai courses and the opportunity to participate remotely. The fully remote format allows volunteers to contribute without being physically present at a particular location. Participants will also be able to expand their professional networks through connections with other trainers and members of the wider AI community. These benefits are designed to attract women who want to contribute to AI education while continuing their own professional development.
Interested candidates can register through the application link shared by Islamabad.ai, with shortlisted applicants expected to be contacted after their submissions are reviewed. The organisers have encouraged women with experience or an interest in artificial intelligence to consider volunteering and supporting younger learners. The initiative comes amid growing interest in AI skills and the need for broader participation in technology-related fields. By connecting women professionals with aspiring learners, Islamabad.ai and London Ignite aim to expand access to AI learning and create additional mentorship opportunities across their international network.
