Saudi Arabia based digital enabler stc Group has expanded its partnership with Netflix in a move aimed at strengthening its integrated digital entertainment ecosystem and enhancing streaming access for customers across the Kingdom. The collaboration is designed to provide subscribers of stc’s Baity fiber packages with bundled access to Netflix alongside other premium streaming services available through the stc TV platform. The initiative reflects the growing convergence between telecom operators and global content providers as digital consumption patterns continue to evolve in the region.

Under the expanded arrangement, customers subscribing to Baity fiber packages will receive complimentary access to Netflix as part of a broader content bundle offered through stc TV. The package is currently in a testing phase and is expected to be rolled out at scale in early summer 2026. In addition to bundled access, stc will also enable customers to combine multiple streaming services under a single subscription at discounted rates, simplifying payment and access management for users. This approach is aimed at reducing subscription fragmentation, which has become a common challenge in the rapidly expanding streaming market.

The partnership further strengthens stc Group’s positioning as a leading content aggregator in Saudi Arabia, where demand for digital entertainment services continues to grow across households. By integrating multiple streaming platforms into a single interface, stc TV aims to offer a unified viewing experience that eliminates the need for separate applications, logins, and billing systems. This consolidation is intended to improve user convenience while increasing engagement across digital platforms, particularly among family audiences seeking diverse entertainment options.

From Netflix’s perspective, the collaboration expands its reach within the Middle East and North Africa region by improving accessibility through telecom distribution channels. The partnership also highlights the increasing importance of localised collaborations in global streaming strategy, where telecom operators play a key role in subscriber acquisition and content distribution. As competition in the streaming sector intensifies, such bundled offerings are becoming a key differentiator, combining connectivity services with entertainment content to create integrated digital ecosystems that align with evolving consumer behaviour in Saudi Arabia’s digital economy.
