The Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus 5G has finally arrived in Pakistan, seven months after its international release and nearly a year after its original China launch. The phone is being sold locally in a single configuration with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, priced at Rs159,999.
The device is available in Pakistan in Black, Glacier Blue, and Mocha Brown, with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protecting the front, a plastic frame, and either a plastic or silicone polymer rear panel depending on the colour chosen. The Black and Glacier Blue variants measure approximately 8.2mm thick and weigh 207 grams, while the Mocha Brown version is slightly thicker at 8.5mm and weighs 208 grams. The phone carries IP68 and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance, including protection against full immersion and high pressure water jets.
The device features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 by 2772 pixels and a pixel density of around 447 pixels per inch. The panel supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, covers 68 billion colours, and includes Dolby Vision, HDR10+, 3,840Hz PWM dimming, and a peak brightness of up to 3,200 nits.
Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, built on a 4 nanometre process and paired with an Adreno 810 GPU. The Pakistan model ships with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage, with no microSD card slot available for expansion. The phone runs Android 15 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 interface layered on top.
On the camera front, the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus 5G includes a 200MP main sensor with an f/1.7 aperture, a 23mm equivalent focal length, a 1/1.4-inch sensor size, multidirectional phase detection autofocus, and optical image stabilisation, paired with an 8MP ultrawide camera offering a 120-degree field of view. There is no dedicated telephoto or macro lens included. The rear cameras can record 4K video at 24 or 30 frames per second, along with 1080p recording at up to 120 frames per second with both optical and electronic stabilisation, while a 32MP front camera handles selfies and video calling.
The phone is powered by a 6,500mAh silicon carbon battery supporting 100W wired charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging, allowing users to charge other devices directly from the phone. With its combination of a large battery, high resolution display, and flagship level primary camera sensor packaged into a mid range chipset, the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus 5G positions itself as a value focused option for buyers looking for standout camera and display specifications without paying flagship pricing in Pakistan’s competitive smartphone market.
