vivo has officially launched the vivo Y32 smartphone in Pakistan, introducing a device designed around extended battery life, durability and everyday performance. The new addition to the company’s Y series features an 8,000mAh battery, 44W FlashCharge technology and a 6.87-inch HD+ display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The smartphone is aimed at users who rely on their phones throughout the day for communication, navigation, work and entertainment. According to the company, the large battery is designed to reduce the need for frequent charging, particularly for people who spend extended periods away from a power source. The device also includes a 50-megapixel main rear camera, an 8-megapixel front camera and a 2-megapixel bokeh camera. With these specifications, vivo is positioning the Y32 as an option for consumers who prioritise battery capacity and practical features in a smartphone. The company has also highlighted the handset’s design, charging technology and protective features as part of its appeal to users with demanding daily routines.

Battery capacity is the central feature of the vivo Y32. The phone includes a typical 8,000mAh battery, with a rated capacity of 7,800mAh, and supports 44W wired FlashCharge for faster recharging. vivo says the device can retain approximately 20% battery after a simulated 12-hour mixed-use period involving navigation, messaging, video recording, meetings, music playback and gaming. The company also advertises up to 36.6 hours of video playback, 74.6 hours of Spotify playback and 14 hours of Google Maps navigation under its laboratory testing conditions. Actual battery performance will vary according to network strength, screen brightness, applications and individual usage habits. The handset also incorporates charging management features intended to reduce unnecessary battery wear. According to vivo, its battery design is tested to retain at least 80% of its health after 1,500 complete charging cycles, which the company equates to approximately six years of use under a specified charging pattern. These figures are based on controlled testing rather than a guarantee of identical results for every user.

The vivo Y32 features a 6.87-inch LCD with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,592 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The screen is rated for peak brightness of up to 1,300 nits, which is intended to improve visibility in bright surroundings. The smartphone is powered by the Unisoc T7300 chipset and runs Android 16 with vivo’s OriginOS 6 interface. The Pakistan launch configurations include 6GB of RAM with either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. For photography, the 50-megapixel main camera is accompanied by a 2-megapixel bokeh sensor, while the front camera has an 8-megapixel resolution for selfies and video calls. The phone also includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a design intended to withstand everyday handling. Its IP68 and IP69 ratings indicate tested resistance to dust and water under specified laboratory conditions, while the device has also received an SGS five-star mark for overall unit drop resistance. These ratings do not make the phone permanently waterproof or immune to damage, and protection may decrease with normal wear and tear.

In Pakistan, the vivo Y32 is priced at Rs82,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the 6GB RAM and 256GB model costs Rs99,999. The company has announced pre-orders for October 26 and 27, 2026, with the handset expected to become available through official sales channels. Three colour options are being offered: Twilight Red, Sunset Orange and Meteor White. The pricing places the Y32 in a segment where battery capacity, display features, storage and durability can influence purchasing decisions. Its 8,000mAh battery distinguishes it from many conventional smartphones, although consumers will also need to consider its size, performance requirements and preferred applications when comparing devices. The 120Hz screen offers smoother scrolling in supported applications, while the camera system covers everyday photography needs rather than positioning the device as a specialised camera phone. With its local launch, vivo is expanding its Y-series options for Pakistani consumers seeking a phone built around extended usage between charges. Buyers should confirm variant availability, official warranty coverage and final retail pricing with authorised sellers before purchasing.
