The Global Advisory & Innovation Network (GAIN) has officially been launched to unite Pakistan’s global community of innovators, technologists, and professionals. The initiative aims to foster collaboration, mentorship, and shared learning between Pakistan’s expanding IT ecosystem and its diaspora of accomplished experts from international technology markets. GAIN is positioned as a strategic platform to strengthen linkages between global experience and local talent, contributing to Pakistan’s digital and economic growth through collective innovation.

An initiative of the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) under the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication Pakistan, GAIN serves as a bridge between global expertise and Pakistan’s technology landscape. The program recognizes distinguished professionals and industry leaders from various sectors as GAIN Ambassadors, who will play a key role in connecting international networks with Pakistan’s IT community. These ambassadors are expected to help identify new market opportunities, mentor emerging businesses, and provide valuable guidance to strengthen the country’s position in the global digital economy. By facilitating these relationships, GAIN supports the broader vision of transforming Pakistan into a knowledge-driven, innovation-led economy.

The first cohort of GAIN is set to become operational soon, marking the start of structured collaborations between Pakistan’s IT industry and its global network of experts. Through regular engagements, advisory sessions, and mentorship programs, GAIN will enable Pakistani startups and companies to benefit from global best practices in technology development, digital transformation, and entrepreneurship. The network will also act as a platform for knowledge exchange, where ideas and experiences from global professionals can be translated into strategies that enhance the capacity and competitiveness of Pakistan’s IT sector.

GAIN’s establishment reflects PSEB’s ongoing efforts to promote international cooperation and position Pakistan as a credible and emerging destination for IT services. By mobilizing the expertise of its diaspora and connecting them with local innovators, the initiative seeks to encourage investment, collaboration, and sustainable digital growth. It also aligns with national objectives to expand exports, build capacity in emerging technologies, and support startups in accessing global markets. Through GAIN, PSEB reinforces its commitment to driving meaningful engagement between Pakistan’s technology professionals worldwide and fostering an ecosystem that thrives on connectivity, knowledge, and shared progress.
