Pakistan Software Export Board is set to hold an online awareness and engagement session aimed at helping Pakistani IT and ITeS companies understand how artificial intelligence, FinTech and evolving global technology markets are reshaping international opportunities. Titled “AI, FinTech & the Future of Global Tech Markets: Where Pakistani IT Firms Can Lead,” the session will take place on January 29, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM PKT and will be conducted entirely online. The initiative reflects PSEB’s continued focus on equipping local technology firms with knowledge and strategic direction to move beyond traditional service based models and position themselves as competitive global players in high growth technology segments.

The session will feature Mr. Faisal Aftab, a Pakistani American venture capitalist and recognized technology thought leader with more than 25 years of experience across international markets. Drawing from his extensive background in venture building, investment strategy, and global scaling, Aftab is expected to share practical insights into how Pakistani companies can develop venture ready products that align with the expectations of global investors and enterprise clients. His discussion will focus on translating emerging technologies such as AI and FinTech into scalable solutions, building strong value propositions for international markets, and navigating the evolving dynamics of global tech ecosystems. By connecting innovation with commercial viability, the session aims to offer actionable guidance rather than purely conceptual discussions.

PSEB has positioned the event as a strategic learning opportunity for firms that are ready to transition from service delivery to product driven and export led growth models. With global demand for AI powered solutions, digital financial platforms, and technology enabled services accelerating across industries, Pakistani IT and ITeS companies are increasingly being encouraged to tap into these markets with differentiated offerings. The awareness session is designed to highlight where Pakistani firms can lead through innovation, technical talent, and cost effective development capabilities, while also addressing the challenges involved in scaling globally, securing investment, and meeting international compliance and quality standards. Participants are expected to gain clarity on market trends, investor perspectives, and practical steps needed to compete in mature and emerging tech economies.

The online session is exclusively open to PSEB registered firms, reinforcing the board’s role in directly supporting the growth of Pakistan’s formal IT export sector. Through such engagement programs, PSEB continues to foster stronger connections between local technology companies and global market opportunities, while promoting a shift toward higher value technology development. As AI and FinTech increasingly shape the future of digital economies worldwide, initiatives like this session aim to ensure Pakistani firms are not only participants but contributors in these fast evolving sectors. With expert insights, targeted audience engagement, and a focus on real world application, the event is positioned to provide meaningful direction for companies seeking sustainable international expansion and stronger presence in global technology markets.
