Pakistan has officially joined Web Summit Lisbon 2025, one of the world’s most influential technology gatherings, marking a significant step in showcasing the nation’s growing digital ecosystem on the global stage. The Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), under the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication Pakistan, is leading this initiative as part of its ongoing efforts to position Pakistan as a competitive and emerging technology hub. This participation underscores the government’s commitment to promoting the country’s tech talent, innovation capacity, and export potential at international platforms that connect startups, investors, and thought leaders from across the world.

Held from November 10 to 13, 2025, at the MEO Arena in Lisbon, the event brings together leading technology companies, investors, policymakers, and innovators to discuss emerging trends shaping the global digital economy. Pakistan’s delegation, represented under the Tech Destination Pakistan pavilion, will feature some of the country’s most promising startups, established tech firms, and digital entrepreneurs. This collective presence aims to highlight Pakistan’s growing contribution to the global technology landscape and its expanding capabilities in software development, IT-enabled services, and emerging technologies. Visitors can find Pakistan’s pavilion at Pavilion 2, E253, where participants will engage with potential partners, investors, and technology leaders from around the world.

PSEB’s participation in Web Summit Lisbon 2025 is a continuation of its mission to create international linkages for Pakistan’s IT and startup sectors. Through such initiatives, the organization seeks to facilitate knowledge exchange, investment opportunities, and collaboration between Pakistan and the global tech ecosystem. By showcasing digital innovation and entrepreneurship, PSEB aims to enhance the visibility of Pakistani companies and provide them with access to new markets. The platform also serves as an opportunity for local startups to demonstrate their products and services to a global audience and to form partnerships that can drive business growth and technological advancement.

The representation at Web Summit Lisbon further highlights Pakistan’s growing recognition as an emerging destination for technology and innovation. In recent years, PSEB has played a key role in promoting the country’s IT exports and supporting startups through participation in international exhibitions and summits. Pakistan’s inclusion in global events such as Web Summit reinforces its image as a destination for reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality digital solutions. By aligning with global trends and promoting cross-border collaboration, Pakistan’s technology sector continues to strengthen its global footprint. Through this participation, PSEB reaffirms its commitment to building strong international partnerships and supporting Pakistan’s journey toward becoming a competitive player in the global digital economy.
