Another important area of discussion was expanding meaningful digital inclusion by ensuring that digital services and technologies remain accessible to a wider segment of the population. One of the major outcomes of the event was the endorsement of a Policy Action Matrix that will serve as a shared roadmap for future collaboration on digital governance in Pakistan. The framework identifies priority actions and opportunities for cooperation among government institutions, technology organizations, civil society, academic institutions, and the private sector. The Policy Action Matrix is intended to support coordinated efforts in advancing responsible artificial intelligence, improving information integrity, strengthening digital governance, and promoting broader digital inclusion. Participants agreed that meaningful progress in these areas requires continuous engagement between stakeholders from different sectors to ensure that technology policies are developed through collaboration and informed dialogue. The roadmap also reflects a shared commitment to improving governance frameworks that support sustainable digital transformation while encouraging innovation across Pakistan’s technology ecosystem.
