National Incubation Center for Aerospace Technologies (NICAT) is preparing to unveil its first-ever white paper on Friday, August 22, 2025. The event will take place at NICAT’s facility, beginning at 3:00 PM, and will mark a major milestone in shaping the future direction of Pakistan’s startup ecosystem.

The white paper is the product of the National Startup Ecosystem Roundtable held in May 2025, which brought together some of Pakistan’s most influential voices in entrepreneurship, investment, policy, and academia. By consolidating insights from founders, regulators, and venture leaders, the document presents a comprehensive analysis of current challenges, emerging opportunities, and practical steps needed to create a stronger innovation landscape in the country.

Attendees will gain first access to the key findings of the publication, which focuses on how collaboration across sectors can drive sustainable startup growth. The launch event will provide a platform for participants to engage with ecosystem leaders, discuss actionable recommendations, and share their own perspectives on how to accelerate progress.

NICAT’s initiative reflects its broader mission to provide structured support for high-potential ventures while connecting industry stakeholders who can influence policy and investment decisions. By identifying barriers to scaling and offering a clear roadmap, the white paper is designed to help align national strategies with the requirements of founders and investors.

The event will also highlight how innovation hubs such as NICAT are serving as critical enablers of entrepreneurship by offering mentorship, research support, and access to networks. With an increasing number of local startups seeking to compete globally, efforts like this are expected to create stronger linkages between technology development, funding opportunities, and market adoption.

Sarah Tims of NICAT emphasized the importance of broad participation in the launch, noting that meaningful dialogue among entrepreneurs, policymakers, and academics is key to translating research into tangible outcomes. The event aims to ensure that voices from all corners of the ecosystem are part of shaping Pakistan’s next phase of entrepreneurial growth.

Stakeholders interested in attending can confirm participation by registering at https://forms.gle/dXA8yDUgWBN26uwo9. NICAT is encouraging founders, investors, government representatives, and educators to join this milestone moment and contribute to a collective vision for building an innovation-driven economy.

As Pakistan continues to expand its presence in the global startup community, this white paper launch is expected to provide a valuable reference point for aligning resources, refining policies, and guiding new initiatives to support the country’s entrepreneurial talent.
