The gaming industry continues to emerge as one of the fastest growing digital sectors globally, creating new opportunities for developers, designers, and creative technologists. In line with this global trend, CEGA has announced the opening of applications for its free Unity 3D training program aimed at equipping aspiring developers with the foundational and advanced skills required to enter the game development ecosystem.

The programme is designed to take participants from beginner level understanding to fully functional game development capabilities using Unity 3D, a widely used engine in the global gaming industry. Through structured training modules, participants will gain hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying interactive gaming environments, with a focus on industry standard workflows adopted by leading international studios. The initiative reflects a growing emphasis on practical, skill based learning to prepare young talent for careers in both gaming and simulation sectors.

Beyond technical training, the programme also aims to support career development by positioning participants for opportunities in international markets. By combining technical proficiency with exposure to real world development practices, the initiative seeks to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. This approach is intended to enhance employability and enable participants to compete in a rapidly evolving global digital economy where gaming and interactive media continue to expand.

The initiative has been launched in collaboration with Ignite National Technology Fund under the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication Pakistan, and is led by Hum Network Limited. It also includes support from a range of industry partners such as Section Soft, Ideofuzion, Sablo Studio, LCE, LUMS Centre for Entrepreneurship, Techsol Space, and Agon Esports. Applications are currently open, with limited seats available for selected candidates interested in pursuing careers in game development and interactive digital technologies.
