LUMS Centre for Entrepreneurship (LCE) has launched two new programs to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in Pakistan. The LCE Idea Launch Incubation program supports early-stage startups, providing them with resources, training, and mentorship to help them grow. The Slingshot Accelerator program focuses on revenue-generating startups, offering them strategic guidance, access to investors, and workshops to scale their businesses.

Both programs culminate in an Investor Summit where startups pitch their ideas to potential investors and industry experts. This platform provides startups with the opportunity to secure funding and partnerships.

LCE’s commitment to fostering a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem extends beyond its programs. The center actively engages with the LUMS community, involving students, alumni, and faculty in various capacities. This collaborative approach creates a supportive environment for startups to thrive.

By providing comprehensive support and resources, LCE empowers aspiring entrepreneurs to turn their ideas into reality. The center’s focus on innovation, mentorship, and investment opportunities positions it as a key player in shaping Pakistan’s entrepreneurial landscape.

LCE’s initiatives are not only benefiting individual startups but also contributing to the overall economic growth of Pakistan. By nurturing a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, LCE is helping to create a brighter future for the country.

CWPK Legacy
Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995. Initially providing news to IT executives only, once CIO Pakistan, its sister brand from the same family, was launched and took over the enterprise reporting domain in Pakistan, CWPK has emerged as a holistic technology media platform reporting everything tech in the country. It remains the oldest continuous IT publishing brand in the country and in 2025 is set to turn 30 years old, which will be its biggest benchmark and a legacy it hopes to continue for years to come. CWPK is part of the SPIN/IDG Wakhan media umbrella.
