JazzWorld, Pakistan’s leading integrated digital ServiceCo, has been honoured with two prestigious Environmental, Social and Governance awards at the 15th International Summit on Corporate Social Responsibility, recognising its efforts in sustainable innovation, societal impact and climate preparedness. The awards highlighted the company’s work in advancing digital inclusion among young learners and its contributions to disaster resilience in partnership with national authorities.

The first accolade, the Sustainability Innovation Award, was presented for JazzWorld’s Digital Safar program, an initiative designed to equip students with essential digital skills and promote safe, confident usage of technology. Implemented in collaboration with partners including Google and Tech Valley, Digital Safar has reached over three hundred thousand schoolchildren and trained thousands of teachers on integrating digital learning into classrooms. Through structured modules that focus on foundational digital literacy, online safety awareness and introductory coding knowledge, the programme aims to build a digitally empowered generation capable of participating in Pakistan’s evolving digital economy.

JazzWorld’s second award, the Crisis/Disaster Assistance Award, recognised its collaboration with the National Disaster Management Authority on a mobile‑based Early Warning System. Developed with support from the GSMA’s Mobile for Humanitarian Innovation programme, this system leverages Jazz’s extensive network to deliver real‑time alerts and safety guidance to communities vulnerable to climate‑related threats such as floods. The technology is credited with improving preparedness and response, helping families receive crucial updates ahead of emergency events and enhancing overall community resilience.

During the ceremony in Karachi, the awards were presented by Syed Mustafa Kamal, Federal Minister for National Health Services, Regulation and Coordination. JazzWorld leaders underscored that the recognitions reflect the company’s commitment to leveraging digital platforms and mobile technology to generate positive societal impact, using innovation not only as a tool for business growth but also as a means to address broader social and environmental challenges.

Partnerships with organisations such as the National Disaster Management Authority and global technology partners have been central to JazzWorld’s approach, blending digital capability with practical solutions for education and disaster risk reduction. Seen in the context of earlier initiatives to expand meaningful digital participation, especially among women and underserved communities, these awards help reinforce JazzWorld’s position as a digital services company with a strong focus on inclusive growth and responsible corporate practices. The dual recognition at the summit underscores the evolving role of digital service companies in Pakistan’s corporate landscape, where contributions to social equity and climate resilience are increasingly intertwined with technological innovation and strategic partnerships.
