Jazz, Pakistan’s leading digital operator with a user base exceeding 100 million, is set to revolutionize the country’s fashion and lifestyle retail sector with the launch of Zarr, a new digital marketplace designed exclusively for fashion and lifestyle brands. Drawing on its strong portfolio of digital platforms such as JazzCash, Garaj, Tamasha, SIMOSA, FikrFree, and GameNow, Jazz aims to create a seamless, data-driven e-commerce ecosystem that connects top local and international brands with the right customers at the right time.

The name “Zarr,” derived from the Persian word for gold, reflects the platform’s ambition to be a premium destination offering exclusive deals and unique product selections unavailable anywhere else in Pakistan. Developed in collaboration with Hanker Global — a leader in marketing and technology solutions — Zarr leverages advanced consumer insights and AI-powered recommendations to deliver a highly personalized shopping experience. This strategic initiative not only enhances convenience and trust for customers but also equips fashion and lifestyle brands with powerful tools to expand their digital footprint and drive revenue growth.

Kazim Mujtaba, President Consumer Division at Jazz, emphasized the significance of Zarr within Pakistan’s digital transformation journey. “This is more than an expansion – it’s a bold step in Pakistan’s digital and Jazz’s ServiceCo evolution,” he said. “With over 100 million Pakistanis connected through Jazz and its products, we understand consumer preferences like no other. With Zarr, our goal is to empower both buyers and businesses with a smarter, data-driven retail experience, connecting them at the right time and in the right place.”

Ali Fahd, Head of Marketing at Jazz, added that Zarr represents more than just a shopping platform—it is a curated ecosystem where fashion meets technology. “Fashion is more than just style – it’s a statement. With Zarr, we’re empowering brands to make their mark in the digital space,” Fahd said. “By combining Jazz’s data-driven approach with Hanker’s expertise, we’re enabling brands to thrive and customers to discover trends effortlessly.”

Omar Farooq, CEO at Hanker Global, called Zarr a timely breakthrough in Pakistan’s digital commerce landscape, especially amid challenges posed by restrictions on dollar-based international media spends. “Pakistan’s e-commerce market has immense potential, but those restrictions pose hurdles. Zarr offers a powerful local alternative—an indigenous platform built on local data, digital infrastructure, and market insight,” he explained. “By helping fashion and lifestyle brands maximize sales through a homegrown marketplace, we’re boosting brand performance and strengthening Pakistan’s digital economy.”

Syma Arshad, Managing Director at Hanker Global, highlighted the platform’s potential to redefine online shopping in Pakistan. “This collaboration will offer an intelligent, hyper-personalized retail experience. Our focus with Zarr is on making fashion and lifestyle products more accessible while equipping brands with advanced digital tools to engage their audiences more effectively,” she noted.

Poised to become Pakistan’s leading fashion and lifestyle hub, Zarr will showcase top-tier brands alongside exclusive deals, delivering AI-driven product recommendations and setting new benchmarks in convenience, personalization, and trust within the country’s growing e-commerce ecosystem. Beyond enhancing shopping experiences, the platform is designed to empower businesses by unlocking new revenue streams and contributing to Pakistan’s broader goals of financial inclusion and digital economic growth.

As Jazz and Hanker Global combine forces to build this innovative marketplace, Zarr is positioned to accelerate the digital evolution of Pakistan’s fashion and lifestyle sectors, offering both consumers and businesses unprecedented opportunities in the digital age.
