The National Vocational and Technical Training Commission has launched its Skills of Tomorrow programme under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, offering six fully funded training tracks with a strong focus on artificial intelligence and modern digital skills to young Pakistanis looking to launch online businesses or advance their freelance careers. The programme is entirely free of cost, conducted on-site at training centres across Pakistan, and applications are open until June 5, 2026 through the National Skills Information System portal at nsis.navttc.gov.pk.
The six training tracks cover a broad range of in-demand digital disciplines. Artificial Intelligence-Powered Electronic Commerce equips participants with the tools and strategies needed to build and scale online businesses using artificial intelligence. Artificial Intelligence-Augmented Graphic Design and Video Editing trains participants in creative production workflows enhanced by modern artificial intelligence tools. Artificial Intelligence-Augmented Digital Marketing and Search Engine Optimisation focuses on building practical skills in digital promotion and online visibility using the latest platforms and techniques. Artificial Intelligence Financial Analysis with Power BI covers data-driven financial decision-making and reporting, a track aimed at professionals seeking to strengthen their analytical capabilities for the corporate and entrepreneurial environments. Earning Money Through Freelancing provides actionable guidance on building a sustainable income through Pakistan’s rapidly growing freelance economy, while the Artificial Intelligence for Everyone track makes foundational artificial intelligence literacy accessible to participants regardless of their technical background.
The programme is being offered in partnership with the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training and forms part of the government’s wider ambition to equip Pakistan’s youth with future-ready skills that translate directly into employment and income-generating opportunities. NAVTTC confirmed that training will be conducted on-site at facilities across Pakistan, making it accessible to participants in multiple cities nationwide. For young Pakistanis who have been waiting for a structured, government-backed pathway into digital and artificial intelligence skills without the financial barrier that private training institutes typically represent, the Skills of Tomorrow programme offers a concrete and time-sensitive opportunity. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply before the June 5 deadline at nsis.navttc.gov.pk.
