Building the AI Workforce for Tomorrow brought together aspiring AI professionals, trainers, and technology enthusiasts at PNY Training in Multan on 13 February 2026 as part of Indus AI Week, highlighting the growing momentum around artificial intelligence skill development across Pakistan. The session served as a collaborative platform where students and instructors engaged in discussions focused on practical learning pathways, emerging AI applications, and the evolving demands of the global technology market. By convening participants at a regional training institute, the initiative underscored the importance of decentralizing access to advanced digital skills and ensuring that talent development extends beyond major metropolitan centers.

The event was aligned with the broader objectives of Ministry of IT and Telecommunication Pakistan and Pakistan Software Export Board, both of which continue to emphasize workforce readiness as a key pillar of Pakistan’s digital growth strategy. Through initiatives associated with Indus AI Week, stakeholders aim to cultivate a new generation of AI professionals equipped with technical expertise, problem solving capabilities, and an understanding of industry requirements. Shahbaz Hameed was also associated with the engagement, reflecting institutional support for expanding AI training and aligning educational programs with national technology objectives. Participants explored how structured training environments can accelerate skill acquisition in areas such as machine learning, data analytics, automation, and intelligent systems, while also creating pathways for employment and entrepreneurship within the tech sector.

The session reinforced the message that Pakistan’s AI future is being shaped at the grassroots level through classrooms, mentorship, and hands on practice. Trainers shared insights on curriculum design and industry alignment, while aspiring professionals discussed their ambitions to contribute to Pakistan’s expanding digital economy. By hosting the event in Multan, organizers highlighted that innovation and capability building are emerging from every corner of the country, supported by institutions committed to bridging the gap between education and market needs. As Pakistan advances its vision under Digital Nation Pakistan and Tech Destination Pakistan, initiatives such as “Building the AI Workforce for Tomorrow” demonstrate how collaborative efforts between training institutes, policymakers, and industry stakeholders are steadily building a sustainable AI talent pipeline designed to meet both domestic and international demand.
