PTA to hire consultant for 3G auction

PTA has released an advertisement to hire a consultant for 3G auction in international market, as a response to strict orders of government to speed up the process. According to experts, the consultant must have previous experience of auctioning 3G services in any other country. Considering the current situation in Pakistan, it is very likely that the consultant will be hired outside of Pakistan. 

 

Apple iPhone 6 to Hit the Market Next Year

iPhone 5 has made impressive sales so far but the launch of iPhone 6 is likely to boost the company sales even on a bigger scale next year.  Apple’s iPhone 6 will have added features and graphics including a 4.8inches display screen. 

 

Nest Protect: Tony Fadell with World’s Smartest Fire Alarm

Tony Fadell from Nest Labs has launched one of the world’s smartest fire alarm called Nest Protect, which is officially the second product coming from Nest Labs. Tony has been involved in the design of iPhone while working at Apple. And he intends to set smart trends. 

 

More than 40 Percent of the World Will Be Online This Year

Internet penetration has remarkably increased throughout the world especially after broadband and wireless connectivity. This year almost 40 percent of the world will be online with US topping the list. The repost says that 41.3 out of every 100 households have internet connectivity 29.5 of these are mobile subscribers.

 

Google introduces $279 laptop based on Chrome operating system

Google in collaboration with HP is introducing HP Chrome Book 11 that has Chrome operating system and costs $279. Chrome Book 11 offers many features that you may find in a model that costs $1,000 or more. Many of its application only run with internet connectivity and it has very little storage for documents, photos and other files. 

Facebook Graph Search Recruiter 

Facebook recruiting solution Works4 Labs announced the release of its Graph Search Recruiter, which allows employers to search and go through all the publicly available user information on Facebook by people, places, likes, interest, workplaces and schools. This is very helpful for recruiters to keep a track of those users who have applied for jobs.
