The gaming community in Pakistan is considered to be one of the most dynamic communities currently forming in Pakistan. By integrating players into existing real-life communities and establishing a national network across thousands of professional gamers, the Pakistani Gaming Community has had participation in countless competition and lounges alike. As the community always had the convenience to opt for real-life gaming lounges to compete in, the country hasn’t seen a widespread and immersive gaming lounge or event that can be found in other countries. Quite recently, Mountain Dew have decided to change this mindset and have launched the country’s biggest gaming championships.

As a result of the thriving gaming community in the country, Mountain Dew are launching the Dew Gamers arena. As a way for these gamers to show their skills and talents, the company has joined hands with ESL, an international gaming giant, they have highlighted that this is a way to contribute to the growth of the local gaming community. As gamers were restricted to small-scale tournaments that would usually happen in university, this event will change the platform of gaming competitions and will also provide a long-standing reputation for the players in it as well.

The launch of the Dew Gamers Arena was made on the 3rd October 2018 and highlighted that Mountain Dew will conduct a championship that will span across three months. The Gamers Arena will be featuring one of the most popular games that are played across the world which includes CS: GO and Dota2. The contestants will compete against each other and the winner will be awarded PKR 1 million alongside the title of the Best Gaming Team of Pakistan. This exposure will also give them the chance to represent Pakistan competitively on a global scale as well. The registration for Gamers Arena has now been opened and all the details can be found through this link.
