DWP Group has entered into a strategic partnership with the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) to promote higher education and empower deserving students through full scholarship support. The collaboration, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), highlights DWP Group’s vision of fostering education, promoting equal opportunities, and contributing to Pakistan’s long-term socio-economic development. This initiative focuses on supporting talented students who demonstrate academic excellence but face financial barriers to pursuing their education.

The MoU was officially signed by Sabah-ud-Din, representing DWP Group, and Arooba Gillani, Director of Advancement at NUST, in a ceremony held at the university campus. Under this partnership, DWP Group will fully sponsor undergraduate degree programs for selected students from September 2025 to August 2029, covering all educational expenses throughout the duration of their studies. The initiative reflects DWP Group’s belief in investing in human capital as a key driver of national growth and progress, particularly in sectors where innovation and leadership are essential to shaping Pakistan’s future.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Sabah-ud-Din emphasized that education remains the cornerstone of national development and individual empowerment. He stated that by supporting students who possess exceptional potential but limited financial means, DWP Group aims to create meaningful pathways for success and contribution. He further expressed that this collaboration with NUST represents the organization’s dedication to building a more inclusive and knowledge-driven society where education becomes an enabler of equality and innovation.

Echoing this sentiment, Muhammad Farooq Naseem, Chairman and CEO of DWP Group, highlighted that the company’s partnership with NUST is part of a broader mission to give back to society through impactful investments in education. He noted that this scholarship program is designed to nurture Pakistan’s emerging talent pool, enabling young individuals to pursue excellence in science, technology, and leadership. He added that DWP Group’s commitment to social responsibility extends beyond business operations, focusing on initiatives that empower youth to actively shape Pakistan’s economic and intellectual landscape.

The collaboration aligns with DWP Group’s corporate social responsibility vision of strengthening educational foundations, fostering innovation, and developing a skilled, future-ready workforce. NUST’s strong reputation as one of Pakistan’s leading academic and research institutions complements this vision, providing a platform for deserving students to realize their potential. Through this initiative, DWP Group continues to play an instrumental role in promoting education as a tool for empowerment and sustainable progress, reaffirming its commitment to investing in the nation’s youth and building a knowledge-based society.
